Yeah, it's good in the heated feuds. And most matches involving Lesnar.

Austin/Bret would not be iconic if not for the famous shot. Same goes for the McMahon peeking his head over the apron.

You don't need to party like Flair just because it's a certain type of match, but when used in moderation (IE: only when the feud would greatly benefit it) it's great.

Brock needs to be busted open the hard way every time. That's a requirement.

But yeah, when there's a brutal feud, a little color in a brawl or the payoff match isn't a bad thing. But for the sake of the gimmick match, nah.

You really think Charlotte came up with the idea to use it, and didn't clue either parent in on it? That's funny.

Wrestling Observer is about a hundred times more trustworthy than the WWE. I'm probably underestimating the odds.

Cheap Heat guys think this is all a work.

But they notoriously believe in Kayfabe quite often.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

Guys what possible reason would WWE have in pinning this fallout all on Charlotte and get all the heat off themselves? This company has never done slimy things in the past so I have 100% faith that they are speaking the truth.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

From PWINSIDER (via wrestlinginc):

Quote:
Regarding the controversial RAW ending with Paige and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte this week, where Paige took a shot at Charlotte's late brother Reid Flair, PWInsider reports that the idea to mention Reid was presented to Charlotte and she was able to give feedback on the angle, in terms of the verbiage she would use and the way the angle was being presented - as a way to give Charlotte some sympathy from the fans.

The original idea reportedly came from something Charlotte mentioned to WWEcreative recently, about how her entire career is a tribute to Reid. Apparently some parts of the angle were dropped throughout the day and other parts evolved. Charlotte was not forced into the segment and was given time to prepare or give feedback during the day.

I was also noted that the angle was discussed a lot throughout the day and senior WWE creative members were against it. Some voiced their opinions to Vince McMahon, who ultimately made the call. There's talk that the angle was actually pulled before RAW went on the air but Vince made the decision to keep it on the show.
