I thought there was an episode discussing the death of Ms. Elizabeth but I couldn't find it in the listings.

Movie is highly entertaining, in the way that even bad 1980s action movies are entertaining, especially being so far removed from that era of movies now in 2019.

The score to the film might be Jim Johnston's worse piece of work ever, but the title song makes up for it.

Making a Zeus vs Hogan match look even semi-decent, especially when it's 99% punches, is a feat that deserves praise. I mean, Zeus couldn't even figure out how to go up for a bodyslam.

Hogan should have used the double ax handle smash as his finish, like in the movie. Might have prevented a surgery or two.

The arena the final match takes place foreshadows the Impact Zone, oddly enough. A hexagonal ring, with 50 people in the audience. Except in the movie the audience is wearing suits and dresses, whereas TNA crowds looked ... not quite as formal.

God I still love this movie lol.

Oh, and the Summerslam with Zeus working on top in a tag match did more buys than any subsequent PPV until WM14, 9 years later.
Hogan always said looking back that he should've had a power slam or something as a finisher instead of jumping up into the air and landing on his *** hundreds of nights a year for decades.

There was, but they didn't upload every episode today. The way they jump around with uploads, there's no guarantee it'll come anytime soon either.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

I'm loving going through these old WCW Wrestling shows, brings back so many memories of Saturday morning and night on TBS.

Said earlier how good Cornette was but many of the guys then were really good and passionate on the mic. The matches and story lines were really good.

I can only imagine how good Magnum T.A. could have been, dude was all around talent. Most matches were short against the jobbers but he had good matches against the top guys. He could also talk and showed great emotion.

I didn't care much for the Rock and Roll but it's good Robert Gibson had Ricky because he seemed so dull, when he talked a lot of times you could barely hear him.

Another guy that I forgot was so good is Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin, remembered he was very charismatic and could wrestle but he could also talk and was funny. Miss these times man.

Also I totally forgot The Warlord started in WCW being managed by Baby Doll.

And not much has changed in the decades since. Thankfully Ricky has enough personality and charisma for 100 people.
