Nope. JR gets tossed in with the rest of the attitude era and the 6 inch think rose colored glasses kids from back then remember it all with. Some really great highs but mostly a lot of kind of average with some bad mixed in.

JR was great before the Attitude Era. His WCW calls were awesome.

I loved his WCW/NWA stuff, especially how he'd bring up stuff about everyone's background like how Mike Rotunda participated in the punt pass kick finals when he was a kid

As much as I love the Warrior-Hogan match, I still have to go with Savage-Steamboat from WMIII. The pace of the match was something we weren't accustomed to in a WWF ring, and the build to the match was great, too. It set the foundation for how the in-ring style would evolve over the years.

The pacing was just great. Jericho amongst others often mention it as an influence.
