Yeah I'm totally fine with that too. My thought with him is that he is hot and over right now as a babyface so MiTB is a way to take advantage of it. But Theory is probably the better long term play.

Just watched it.

That vignette is 1000% Edge.

And lol, I love it. Another summer booking decision “that’s awful and ruined the show” Theory is going to be amazing with the briefcase. Drew doesn’t need it to challenge Roman in the UK. He can just do it. But lemme know relax and kick my feet up and wait for the fantastic payoff that puts Theory into the main event for good.

For proof of this: he literally already challenged Reigns for the PPV, like a month ago on some random Smackdown.

Obviously card subject to change, but in terms of storyline he doesn’t even need the briefcase because the challenge was already laid out.

I think everything they did at the PLE was the right move. I wonder if we are seeing some changes happening now with new leadership coming into place.

I guess there was a meeting before the show with the talent led by Steph, with Khan, and Tiple H there as well. It was said to be positive and the talent like them.

Yeah this is a good point. I've been super critical of WWE booking these past few years. But this felt like a real step towards addressing some of the ongoing complaints people have had with WWE and their ability to elevate new talent.

The only thing I didn’t like was how they did the cash in. A baby face cashing in on a baby face that just had a match and is selling an injury feels cheap

I agree, but hopefully the follow up is better thought out and compelling.

Plus, we don't know how much the recent walk out altered their plans. Maybe it would've been a (recently turned heel) Sasha instead of Ronda being cashed in on?

Or Ronda turns heel (she's better suited in that role) and finally joins up with Bazler. That gives Liv two hurdles to overcome instead of just boring, babyface Ronda.
