Exactly what I thought. UFC 3's system had crisper control of the bar. Still like this one though. Way better than button mashing.

Well, had my first submission win last night. Worked the legs of Austin quite a bit and hit him with a sharpshooter and was able to get the win.

I hate being in the minority... I actually like it this year, at least you have a chance to get out of it. It does need tweaked though

At first I hated but now that I've gotten much better at it I'm liking it. Do not, I repeat, Do not rotate the stick constantly or too much. Just try to move the stick to the blue marker and just pay attention to how red the bar is getting. The bar doesn't have to fully be on the blue bar.

Watching a submission match right now between Ric Flair and Sheamus, this match is almost 30 minutes deep... Ric Flair lets go of the figure 4 leglock after about 7 seconds with no reaction...

I would like to see a video on this bc to me I can't break or get a sub without twirling the stick.

I've still NEVER been able to get anyone to tap. The system is just not good. Its is CLOSE but the problem is even with the minor adjustments technique, that after I tap left, the bar is on the left side...oh now I have to press up or down to get it to move...then I have to press left or right and sometimes if the bar is in the middle I have to press a diagonal direction.

Funny the people who say they feel they have a chance with this system. I dislike button mashing but I felt as if I stood a chance with that system. This system the CPU is so accurate I feel I don't have a chance no matter how beat down and full of stamina my character has got.

While it wouldn't be perfect I plead for 2K to give us a patch that lets us pick, either submissions are like they are now (for the like 6 of you who somehow got it down) but also give me an option to make it so left on stick always turns clockwise and right always turns counter. Give me that and I think I'd have it.

I like it because the opponents strength and stamina seem to have a huge impact on the outcome of the submission attempt. I just wish that there were more animations for breaking out of the submissions. If throw a sharpshooter on someone in the middle of the ring why would I ever let go until they tapped. There should be a better reversal animation.
