I agree with this. U never saw Ric Flair put on the fig 4 without first working on the legs. So the idea of winning with it jus bc u slapped it on isn't realistic. And yes the reverse system should be better. Risk reward, for instance you throw on fig 4 and don't get it, I should be able to turn it over and now you have to escape. I haven't played with Flair so idk if that's in but that was jus a ex of how it should work for reversing subs, not jus letting go.
