WWE 2K19 Universe Mode

Hello all. I’m going to set up a Universe that uses what I feel to be “sensible” match booking based on rankings and using a tiered system. In other words, the #20 contender doesn’t get to face the #1 contender until he reaches the top 5. If you let the AI randomly book cards, it will give you Lesnar or Strowman vs Tyler Breeze or Kalisto. Yes I realize that the game allows you to use your imagination and suspend disbelief, but a main event guy vs a cruiser weight is just pointless. Does anyone have any ideas how to set up the rankings and rivalries to generate more realistic and even matched cards? Or do you have to book each show the way you want to avoid these ridiculous pairings?

Can you hold a belt on each show or maybe the WWE and Universal champ at the same time? Can you take one of the lowest ranked guys to the top and win the US belt? PPV's might be the one time where you control other wrestlers since those are always more meaningful matches.

I totally agree. Trying to play/watch every match of every show gets boring real quick. I like the “my player” concept where you only play the matches your person is booked in. Do you just take what the AI books or do you edit to something different? Example, if it books you in the same exact match 2 weeks in a row do you change the match?

I’m thinking of doing a Shield type story where I only do events revolving around Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns and have them interact with each other and see what happens. Also may do the same with “The Club”, Styles, Finn Balor, Gallows and Anderson
