Yeah, I see what you mean. I like the cover but they should have added a different color to the text box in the lower right that says 2009 AL MVP to balance out some of the blue space. Of course this is just serious nitpicking, and the cover doesn't matter much to me either since I will definitely be going with a custom one this year featuring the 2009 World Series Champs! Right now, I'm hoping to get one with the whole group of Yankees celebrating at the mound after the final out (same pic that's on the official DVD/Bluray).

I think the cover looks great. I like it being a departure from previous covers. Don't want anything to get stale. They really seem to know what they are doing out there. I have only bought one game since MLB 09, and MLB 10 will quite possibly be my only purchase this year.

Looks nice...but I'm admittedly never too concerned with the cover either way. Congrats again to Joe Mauer though...VERY pleased with him being chosen!

I like the cover, there's alot more going on and it "pops" more. But in the end it's just a cover, I'm excited to play the disc inside that cover!

There has not been any official word that there will be a collector's edition.

I don't think that means the Twins uni's won't be updated. Look at Pedroia on 09's cover, he was sporting the old BoSox away jersey from 08 and they got their update in.

and the design looks a little dated IMO. But who cares, its a stupid cover
