Like the vid, but what's with the body sliding across the ground after contact? It almost looks like a scripted animation.

when 74 bolocked the guy and fell down it looked like he kind of lunged at they guy and fell. he was slightly behind the defender so he had to find a way to get the block.

i dont think the OL got tripped at all, so the RB shouldnt have tripped. BB is not a PERFECT game. the animations are nice, but not perfect

Nah, bro. That's clearly a trip. Number 34 stepped on number 74's foot and they both fell down. It's plain to see.

No. Anything that's not behind the receiver/QB/RB is a replay angle or something produced for advertising.

Looking forward to The Passing Game Tutorial which should be out there by Friday. Followed by The Defensive Tutorial. Which, I am really excited about because it is truly a totally new of playing defensive football in a video game.

Wow, I've been critical of this game (and its delays) quite a bit, but now that we're actually seeing GAME FOOTAGE, I have no problem admitting that looks pretty darn cool. I especially like seeing the ball carrier slowed down (but not suctioned into) arm tackles. Plus, you can see one play where a blocker hits a tackler that was starting to become engaged with the ballcarrier, and is knocked off. That's a good sign that we have something close to real, organic physics, as opposed to locked animations.

I think the broken arm tackles that the RB runs through is the best shot in that video, it's awesome.

I am about there myself. Someone posted a thread in madden about which one people were getting and I was all set to say Madden but after seeing this video and comparing it to the blocking videos of Madden it is amazing how much better the animations and running looks in backbreaker.
