No. Try it out though...choose a team that has 2 pretty equal OT's and DE's. Texas DE's Oklahoma's OTs is a good one. ( Although I may have them backwards.)

It is significantly easier to beat the RT with a pass rush move, especially a move to the outside, then the LT.

The RT seems to not get into a good position soon enough, regardless of how good they are.

This was noticeable in Madden 10, and NCAA 10 as well.

Everyone who I ever played that user controlled a DE, ALWAYS usered the LE.

They do that for a reason.

they really need to fix the eyes in the back of the heads of the db's.

Canned animations in this game is pretty old, anyone else see this? The game really don't feel fresh at all. I'm going to buy it since I didn't buy nccaa10, but this game needs a serious make over in the animation and commentary dept.

If NBA Elite turns out good, I expect EA football to follow what the hoop and hockey games are doing. Its time for a change!

Are you telling me that they're going to show a replay of the touchdown after the extra point is kicked?

Please let this be true...I've been asking for this for years!

One thing that I hope I'm missing in the demo....wheres the on-the-fly subs. I like how in Madden , you are able to throw in a backup or a situational player directly from the playcalling screen. Is this available in NCAA?
Only thing I hated about that on Madden is that there was no way to reset everything.

I thought the demo was somewhat buggy but still was incrediblly fun!

This is as fair as you can get and it really challenges you to call the right defensive plays.
I love playing using the player lock too! Adds another level to the gameplay imo

There's a big 50+ yard play by either me or the computer every quarter on All-American.

Considering the quarters are 2 minutes, yeah, not so good.

Anyone hear that if you play the demo you get something special unlocked in the full game?

What does the little green chain link in the top right corner of a play mean?

# 1733 DavonBrown @ 07/08/10 06:41 AM
It means that play is linked to another play. For example a run up the middle may be linked to a play action pass or a deep pass may be linked to a draw. Basically, if you run one play enough you can setup up the play it's linked to and it will have a higher chance of being successful. It's sort of cheesy, but I get what they're trying to do.

I'm new here, so I'll go ahead and jump in alittle late with my quick impression on the Demo.

Overall I thought it was a good demo. Got a good look at the presentation, and many of the new animations, movements, and play-styles. It did bring up a few troubling questions though.

Maybe it was just me, but defenses seemed like they were having trouble holding their own. I am reminded of NCAA 09 where a good QB could have a 80%-90% completion percentage almost every game, and the scores would just become crazy high. It looks like NCAA 11 might have spent so much time on the offensive aspects that the defense could suffer in this game, which would be a step backwards from the offense-defense balance they had in NCAA 10.

The demo gives me a boner.

I believe it's the same as thing as the set-up plays from last year.

Not in college football

What you said. It's awesome. I played the demo and then NCAA 10 right after to see the differences, and well, there's not much comparison in my opinion.

to me, it plays more like madden...the gameplay. which is better
