Second Candidate For MLB 13 The Show Cover is CC Sabathia

MLB.com has revealed CC Sabathia as the second candidate for the MLB 13 The Show cover.

Yesterday, Bryce Harper was revealed as the first candidate, along with a few more details about the game.

Based off of some of the early released screenshots, other candidates could include Buster Posey, Andrew McCutchen, Matt Kemp, Jose Bautista, Ryan Braun and/or Miguel Cabrera.

Is he even allowed to be a candidate? I know there's no more MLB 2K, but I swear I read somewhere that cover athletes are bound to the company they signed with for x amount of years.

While I think Cabrera should be on it I could really care less who's on it. I don't buy it for the cover. They should take the money they pay the millionaire to be on the cover and give it to all the people who work their butts off each year to make this great game.

By spending insane amounts of money on uncertainty? Yankees have already proven spending tons of money does not grant you the end prize! Been there done that, you guys can try it out this time!

I'm a huge Yankee fan, but even I do not believe that CC Sabathia should be on the cover of the game. Should be Miguel Cabrera, no doubt about it.

A lot of you guys are assuming that our potential cover boys have been selected solely based on their performance last year. Nothing could be further from the truth the year they had probably has about 25% weight on why we choose to align ourselves with them. There are a lot of factors that go into this selection process.

I think Bryce Harper should be on the cover. He brings the largest buzz in baseball right now. Mike Trout would be a close 2nd.

My pick. Class act...does a lot of great things for kids. Plus as a Yankee fan I have a slight bias.
