All I gotta say is, if I was him, I wouldn't want that to be my picture to grace a cover that millions see lol
Sooo many jokes can be made about what's REALLY going on in that photo....

Jokes aside, I'm a casual soccer fan and it helps to put players on it that even the casual fans know. Even if they keep appearing on the cover.

Given his age and popularity, a multi-year deal probably made sense. Also with FIFA they do regional covers so there isn't really "one" cover athlete.

Just thought I'd add in that Chicharito will be on the North American cover with Messi.
