NBA 2K15 Video - NBA Dance Teams (Instagram)

2K Sports has released this new NBA 2K15 video (Instagram, very short clip), featuring some NBA dance teams. Entire routines were mo-capped from professional NBA dance teams and will be implemented into the game.

What would also be great (for future iterations) or simply blow my mind this year is to have in game arena fan interactions with cheerleaders, mascots, t-shirt balls thrown into the stands, and whatever arena side show teams does around the league, kiss cams, mascot dunks, half court shot by fans, fans talking on their cell phones, security guards escorting bad behaviors out of the arena, etc. during timeout, halftime, etc.

... and fans actually eating, drinking during the game ...

That is true, but just hoping for more cheerleader presence for teams that do compared to NBA2k14. LD2k confirmed cheerleader arena presence during in game action is already a big step in the right direction in the presentation department.

I am fricking impressed. I noticed that the dancers were realistically a little off sync with each other. I wondered if they just captured a few takes or programmatically added some variations in the timing.

No. They captured a WHOLE TEAM all at once. That is insane and dedication to authenticity.

I saw them posed up behind the basket in the path to the tunnel I know I've seen on TV before in the yakkem trailer. Good stuff

Well you see 2k already has a solid foundation to work with. What does EA have? They have yet to show anything. So of course EA will get blasted.

I always chuckle when I see comments like this. Various teams amongst the developers who focus on their tasks at hands. Mocapping cheerleaders doesn't mean the gameplay team took time away working on gameplay - it's all relative.

A million followers, that's cool! I recently decided to redesign my instagram page and fill it with interesting content to get views. Actually, I need additional income and I am currently studying information on how to make my instagram page profitable. But I still don't know what I have to do to get a million views if I'm not a celebrity and if it's possible.
