could not care less

I hope it's Jose Altuve, and he only reaches half the height of the cover.

If it ends up being a pitcher, it will probably be because they are highlighting pitching as a new feature.

Looks like it's Reggie Jackson. Could mean some sort of throwback mode...cool!

I don't know if it's already been mentioned, but the cover will be announced at 6:30 pm PST tomorrow

Edit:
Other clues given:
Is an active player
Has been an All-Star
Has played for the same team his whole career
Plays for a team west of the Rocky Mountains
Played in less than 100 career minor league games

Notable remaining candidates (not all inclusive)
Madison Bumgarner
CLayton Kershaw
Felix Hernandez (I can't get an exact count on minor league games but it seems to be less than 100)

Notable players that do not meet above criteria:
Pablo Sandoval
Buster Posey
Albert Pujols
Mike Trout
Giancarlo Stanton

Also note that the 100 minor league games hint skews the candidate list almost entirely towards starting pitchers, since SPs don't start in many games relative to position players. An SP can spend 2 or 3 years in the minors and still not reach 100 games.

I'm not going to derail the thread and elaborate on why I view it the way I do. Its only my opinion.

While I doubt it's him, Yasiel Puig still meets the criteria

And he's a big MLB the show fan as well. Makes sense, but I agree highly doubt it's him.

So obvious, it's Sean Doolittle

MadBum. There's never been a Pitcher on the Cover (Unless you count Wei-Yen Chen for the Taiwan release). It's time & the Bum had an amazing playoff run.

If not him, then I'll be ok with Kershaw.

Except for the 5 years in the minors as an outfielder.

I'll be happy with any pitcher.

Pitching is more than over do for a little Show representation.

# 60 obscureguy @ 12/04/14 10:42 PM
Kershaw, Felix, or Trout would be my top picks.
