Hoping for a reworked AI (more AI goal variety please) or less emphasis on +/-. Previous versions (not counting NHL 15 since BAP in 15 was unplayable) relied on +/- too much towards your ratings unless you were a sniper. Simming a shift in 14 usually resulted in a goal against per game that you had no control over. +/- has always been a semi-useless stat for judging defensive play anyway. Hopefully they start tracking advanced stats next year as Corsi or Fenwick percentages would be a much better analysis of defensive talent and might even provide more accurate simming results.
As for the rest? A better camera angle and a more forgiving rating system for goalies would be a nice change. I found it nearly impossible to maintain a .900 SV% in any of the NHL games. Points should have more emphasis on your ability to move up or down a line and the pre-game lineup changes should happen more often.
I really like the changes they have already announced (more realistic ice time, gain XP outside of games through training, CHL career that dictates your play style, etc.) so it will be interesting to see if there is any new info tomorrow.
