No and I doubt I buy the game again this year. There are too many issues with the franchise still in my opinion. The game constantly feels 3-4 years behind. The off ball injuries is nice, but there are still so many gameplay legacy issues that will keep me from even getting the urge to buy it. The reveal of the gameplay types options did get my hopes up, but those were squashed when Rex said the game we've known the past few years is the "sim" style. That told me that there was not use in letting myself get hyped for anything.

The gameplay of Madden 17 was some of the most fun i've had in a sports game last year. Aside from the QB awareness and scrambling out of the pocket when under pressure, the gameplay has been extremely solid.

I've played NBA 2k17, NHL 17, MLB The Show 17, and FIFA 17.

Madden 17 trumped all in terms of gameplay, IMO.

So if you mean 3-4 years behind as far as CFM, hmm yea maybe. Gameplay? Not a chance. Madden is AHEAD in Gameplay.

To me '17 gameplay regressed from '16.The qb play was obviously worse and the line play certainly didn't get any better. Working with sliders in '17 was a nightmare comparatively. I personally would rather play '16 if these issues aren't worked out but to each their own.
