The player interactions and animations. Watch your OL/DL interactions, your block shedding. It's gorgeous.

This and the interactive sidelines. I love watching them start jumping up and down and pumping their fists as I sprint down the field for a TD or make an INT.

injuries look legit. quarterbacks each play differently as well as the rest of the players, but it is very noticeable when you change QB's.

How does this game handle the 3-4 defense compared to Madden?

Any other good strategical differences?

I'd have to say the passing mechanism, especially when compared to the competition which has had several more years to develop and still hasn't matched it. Routed based passing, the passing arch, the control (which is control based, and not percentage based FTW!), and the DB Coverage / Reaction (while not perfect is still better as the QB you can read the field and throw accordingly) .
