Re: How to edit All Pro Football

Color palette and logo adjustments for the default teams is pretty simple. The video to this will be updated on the first page as well.

The first picture below represents the color palettes for the team logos and each block represents the coding info for each team. To change this coding info your best bet is to create a team with the logo and color scheme you want then copy the logo and color scheme of your created team and paste that on to the default team you want to change.

I did not find all the default teams logos and color schemes. So your gonna have to go about that endeavor on your own. Your first teams created logo should appear at offset 1F4E20 while your created teams color scheme will be at offset 1F0C50.

More info is in the video. Next I will try to edit playbooks.

Good work, man! I know this has become work to you, but we really appreciate the help. If you can discover the playbooks that would be the icing on the cake. Keep it up for just a little longer.

Nice! This would allow me to finally edit my Lions uniforms through the hex program since editing them in game would reset all the generic players.

video is up and processed by youtube and can be viewed. I posted it on the first page of this thread.

Just wanted to add that this also changes the color of the uniforms for the teams as well.

is there a way to edit the existing legends? like change their abilities, or change their hidden ratings?

Thanks for the info Catcatch, I'm gonna try to give an NFL uniform to a default team tonight following your guidelines. Meanwhile, I'm investigating text in the game, and it seems to me like every word is stuck at a fixed position inside the file. If that position is altered the word simply disappears in game.
I bring an example. I was trying to change the Assassins' abbreviation from NJ to NYJ(I had to remove one byte somewhere else in the file to keep it the same size). However, by doing so, every subsequent word in the file shifted one byte to the right. The end result was that every team name and abbreviation following the New Jersey Assassins had disappeared in the game. The game was still playble however, it didn't freeze.

Now, from your experience, do you think there's a workaround, or are we gonna be forced to change words only with smaller words?

Thanks for your attention.
