I don't see any realism without player fatigue or injuries.. It's arcade without those things..(what were they thinking).

Add to that fact that Natural Motion gave us RRTB mode, 3-d interactive crowds, the deepest creation tools on any football game, and is giving us true physics based outcomes with realistic player interactions and less predictable behaviour based AI and I'm willing to cut the team quite a bit of slack.

Realistically, football is not only one of the most difficult games to program but as a football gamer I also have to give Natural Motion a ton of credit just for having the balls to attempt a football game under the current conditions since no other company has attempted it in the past 3 years. That said, a BB2 won't get the same treatment. If this game is successful, my expectations will be much higher for this franchise.

With respect i have to say, your points are valid, but they are still excuses...

They spent a ton of time developing the technology and a shorter time creating the game..I havent read of any consultants being brought in to assist in development.

Early game makers spent more time on their games most likely with less developers and still managed to produce complete football games..

If they are short of time or manpower then they should wait and release the game when it's complete..

No injuries, no fatigue = arcade football ..and in 2010 were beyond that now IMO.

The poll results are suprising to me..Here in a forum that sweats every detail in a game... These two omissions don't seem to matter.

this game has been in production for around 3/4 years FYI.
And saying this game is arcade..well you are entitled to think that, but you haven't played it yet. Sim/arcade goes far beyond just injuries and fatigue, at least I think so anyway.

Not at all. That's an oversimplification and simply not true. The "pinball" (some call it God's view) view of standard football games is more "arcadey" than no fatigue or injuries.
So why are you buying the game?

Not really, it's still about half and half, but the key point is importance to us.

Technically, "could care less" means that it's important to them.
