It's opening day and our home opener is against the Trenton Thunder. I was battered by the Thunder for 6 runs on 7 hits, 2 of which were home runs, and 3 walks in 4 2/3 innings. The mistakes were a 3-run HR in the top of the 2nd to give the Thunder the lead, and a solo HR in the 4th. We tied the game at 4-4 then in the 5th inning, I gave up a 2-out single with a run already in and that was it for me. That runner was allowed to score and we ended up losing the game, 10-5.

After getting hit hard in the home opener yesterday, I was informed that Byung-Hyun Kim was injured and I was being called up to Rochester. It was a definate shock to me.

Tonight was my debut, and home debut, in a Rochester Red Wings game and I was completely bombed by the Columbus Clippers. I got mercifully removed after 2 2/3 innings and allowing 7 runs on 7 hits with 2 walks and a wild pitch. I did get my first Triple-A strikeout in this game.

Wow, isn't that dude old? I'm confused but was he the former closer of the Diamondbacks back in '01?

Same guy. I'm playing with MLB:The Show 08 so that may be a reason we see him. He was born on 1/19/79 according to bio at mlb.com, so he would be turning only 32 next year. He was last seen in Pittsburgh during spring training of 2008 but was released before the end of March.

He pitched for the Rockies, Diamondbacks and Marlins in 2007 so that's probably why he was included as a free agent in The Show 08. Why the Twins signed him in my RTTS is anyone's guess.

B H Kim only had a dtd injury so I'm guessing that I will be there until Kevin Slowey comes back from his injury. Slowey is Rochester's ace in my RTTS right now. My role on the team is #5SP.

We are on the road facing the Richmond Braves. I pitched much better than my debut in AAA. I went 4 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs on 5 hits and 1 walk. One of the hits was a 2-run homer in the last of the 5th that ended my night. We couldn't hit at all and lost the game, 5-2.

We are in Norfolk, VA to take on the Tides tonight and my night ended in the last of the 5th with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 3rd after allowing a single. I fanned another 5 hitters and did not allow a walk, only 2 runs on 7 hits. Once again, my team didn't hit and we lost the game, 3-0.

I was informed by the Red Wings's manager that I failed in reaching my goals, only getting 2 out of 5. He is hoping for a better effort this time around with my six new goals.

New Goals
1. Increase stamina
2. Increase h/9
3. increase durability
4. have a WHIP lower than 1.330
5. have at least 14.1 innings pitched
6. allow 17 hits or less
