Re: New York Yankees Franchise(GM:Andre (me))

seems like your having too easy of a time with the hitting, maybe increase difficulty?

I would if I could but I'm playing Legend Mode, I'm not a huge fan of messing with sliders cause I'm afraid things will get messy but I'll try messing with the sliders see if they have any effect. I started the season on Hall of Fame difficulty then saw it was too easy moved it to Legend mode and still seems rather easy with the hitting. Dunno maybe it has to do with the hitters I have too but even then shouldn't be this easy, I'll lower the human power and contact sliders see what they do

Re: New York Yankees Franchise(GM:Andre (me))

I lowered my sliders probably too much since everything seemed to be a really easy fly out or a really easy ground out against my offense. I changed no sliders for the pitching just my contact and power, seems like I changed too much, I'll play two to three more games with these settings if I see it's too much I'll up them a little more

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yankees on the Wrong Side of a pitchers duel
In a game where both pitchers pitched fantastic it was the Yankees that would take a one nothing loss in a game where Brett Gardner suffered from a Fractured Leg while sliding to second to try and stop a double play from happening, Gardner will be out from 2 to 3 months and therefore has been placed on the DL, his second sixty day DL visit this season. This most likely means that Gardner will miss the playoffs as Gardner was placed on the DL, Austin Keanrs has been recalled back to the majors and Dernard Span will officially be the starter at left field. I bet General Manager Andre is pretty happy he went through with the trade that got him Dernard Span right now, at the time it did not seem needed now seems like it was great.

Re: New York Yankees Franchise(GM:Andre (me))

Nevermind, I thought I had saved the game but I didn't which means I'm going to have to redo the last game against Tampa, sucks because I hate redoing games

The previous post does count, I just edited this one which had the other game which did not save, so I did lose the previous game 1-0

....... And Im going to have to redo this game a third time... Bottom of the 9th inning was tied 6-6 and the game decided to get stuck when I went to my bullpen to put pitchers warming up... this is not amusing at all, I already hate redoing the game once, I hate having to redo it two times

Also I downloaded the realistic sliders since up until now I only thought I could only download rosters, and I'm going to give those sliders a chance hopefully they keep things more realistic although it may not seem like it I do like things to be more realistic which is why I'm playing in Legend Mode to begin with, hopefully the realistic sliders will help keep things more realistic and if it does it will only help with the stats for the 2011 level season since this season is already too far to impact the stats greatly, but hopefully you can stay with the franchise

Re: New York Yankees Franchise(GM:Andre (me))

I'm using the "realistic" sliders I downloaded, we'll see if I'll need to tweak them or not as I play a few more games.

Re: New York Yankees Franchise(GM:Andre (me))

I want to get this season done quickly so I can reach the playoffs, so I will be updating less, I'll return to constant updates when I get to the playoffs. I will still update if theres any trades made or anything big otherwise I'll just play games try to get them done with

Re: New York Yankees Franchise(GM:Andre (me))

Did you get my PM's?

Hitting wise, the Realistic sliders have user contact at 2. This is way too drastic of a drop on Legend.

Just lower contact one click (or two if necessary). Other than that, possibly pitch speed one click up, and believe it or not, lowering strike frequency to 3 or 4 will force you to be more patient, often resulting in more outs.

And ONLY guess pitch with two strikes, as personally, I'm almost certain that the way you told me you used it is what is causing your high average.

Try this:

Default Legend hitting.

Contact 4 (or 3)
Fouls 6
CPU strike frequency 4 (or 3)
Global Reaction 6 (to cut down on singles)
All others at 5

Trust me. This is all the tweaking you need, other than possibly pitch speed. I'm the Yanks too. Keep this in mind.
