Re: The Coaching Career of Ron Zeiglermuffin (NFL Head Coach 09)

Week 4 @ New England:

Injuries:
Buffalo - None
New England - LOLB Bowens (82)

Top 5 players:
Buffalo - DT Haynseworth (94), LT Peters (93), LOLB Briggs (91), DT Stroud (91), HB Lynch (89))
New England - QB Brady (98), DT Wilfork (93), RE Seymour (93), WR Moss (93), MLB Thomas (93)

Game Time:
This time there is nice weather, and an 8 MPH wind.

Kicked off - touch back. 2nd play sacked Brady (Carr). 3rd and long, Brady sacked again. Carr again. 3 and out to the 40.

Johnson threaded it on 3rd and 4 to the 22. They were stopping the run way better this game, but Johnson threaded it again on the drive. A nice run by Lynch from the 8 for the first score of the game. 7-0 Bills.

Another TB by Serna. Brady was Brady, and picked up some solid gains. Forced a 3 and out, however, touchback.

We had gotten stuffed, and Johnson threw a pick 6. Ugh.

Return to the 33. And then it happened. Johnson threw the ball 50 yards, and it was just barely over then corners head. Down to the 10. Then a 10 yards pass to the 1 for a first...

Had to sim rest of the game.

Won 20-17.

Re: The Coaching Career of Ron Zeiglermuffin (NFL Head Coach 09)

Ok, instead of restarting, this is what I will do. I will play all play-off games, and 2 in season games. Most likely these games will be against my division, Patriots and either Dolphins or Jets, at home.

Speaking of the Dolphins, Jets and Pats, Here are some of their key elements:

New England Patriots:
Top 5: QB Tom Brady (98), DT Vince Wilfork (93), RE Richard Seymour (93), WR Randy Moss (93), MLB Adalius Thomas (93)
Coach: Hal Ophamer (99)

New York Jets:
Top 5: LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson (92), C Nick Mangold (92), CB Darrelle Revis (90), SS Kerry Rhodes (88)
Coach: Gary Hammermill (45)

Miami Dolphins:
Top 5: LT Jake Long (96), CB Asante Samuel (90), Samson Satele (90), LOLB Joey Porter (88), John Greco (87)
Coach: Tony Sparano (40)

If you look at it, This division is loaded. It will be very tough to come away with the title in future years. Whoever wins the division should be a solid representative in the playoffs.

Re: The Coaching Career of Ron Zeiglermuffin (NFL Head Coach 09)

The rest of the Year:

Week 5 At Miami: Won 26-9
Stroud out 5-8 weeks with a broken Fibula (Ow)
John Scotland is my top prospect. Anyone compared to Tarkenton is someone I want. Will try to draft him.
Marshawn was a beast yet again, along with Rice. Combined they had 28 carries for 119 yards and 1 TD. 6 TFLs and 2 sacks were the stats for my D. Serna made 4 FGS!

Week 6 Vs. Atlanta: Won 17-12
Traded Ken "QB Killer" Dorsey to Miami for a 5th rounder in the upcoming draft. He was askind for 30 mil over 5 years. Signed rookie QB Max Tryon as depth. Has a nice 83 potential. Signed RT Butler for 3 years, 1.4 mil. Signed LT Estes to a 2 year deal worth 800K. Signed CB Fields for 2 years for 2.5 mil. Signed OG Maples for 2 years, 560K.
Johnson first start at QB. He was mediocre, but Lynch tore it up on the ground (19-144-2). Only 1 sack and 4 TFLs, but we did a great job on the Defensive side of the ball.

Week 7 Vs. Houston: Won 17-10
Signed FS Simpson for 6 years, 5.75 mil. Signed FB Holmberg for 6 years, 2.5 mil. Signed TE Woods for 2 years, 780K. Signed LOLB Carr for 2 years, 540K.
Johnson's 2nd start. He was bad again, but progressing. Lynch has been unstoppable (23-135-1). Gino King had his coming out game, recording a pick and a sack.
Side note: I am one of 4 teams that haven't allowed 100 points, and the only that hasn't without a bye. The others are Indy, Pitt and Houston.

Week 8 @ Titans: Won 35-14
Resigned FB Stewart for 2 years, 780K. Signed FS Clay for 480K over 2.
Edwards was very good, and he proved me right in starting him. Threw for 3 TDs. Bot Rice (12-69-1) and Lynch (29-101-1) were monsters on the ground. 4 sacks as a whole, and 7 TFLs.

That concludes the first half. Check back later for the second half.

1st Q:
Raining, I kickoff for the TB. Here we go.

They had some good passes, predictably couldn't run and a sack set them up for a 3rd and long. Briggs. Strip sack recovered by Dansby.

Edwards gives it right back. Picked by Ronde.

Briggs gets him again, 3rd and 17. 1st down on a 20 yards pass. Gino King gets him this time. 3rd and 10, another 1st down. A ridicolous 1 handed catch for a TD. 7-0 Bucs.

TD on the Kick Return! Demario Waddel! 7-7 Tie.

Another TB. 3rd and 7, knocked down at the line. 3 and out by Tamp, returned to the 49.

3 and out after they stopped the run. Touch Back. End of the 1st.

They had success, until Karlos Dansby picks it off again!

Got stuffed on a couple runs. But Edwards makes some ridiculous throw in side the Red Zone. I go for on 4th and 8 (Def Moment). PA Pass, knocked down in the End Zone.

Sacked by Briggs on the 3! 3rd and 17 from the 2. Stopped at the 1. Punt block called. Returned to the 45. Almost got to him.

Lynch (and Waddell) break off a couple of nice runs, down to the 21 on the 2 minute warning. Holding penalty and a 6 yard run get us to the 28 yard line. Then Edwards decides to become Peyton for a play and throw a perfect pass to Royal for a TD. 14-7 Bills.

Returned to the 29. Sacked by Briggs again. Strip Sack by Briggs! Recovered by Dansby for the TD! 21-7 Bills

Another sack by Campbell. 3 and out by them. Waddel returns it to the 29, but the Half ends.

Returned to the 25 by Parrish. Lynch gets yard after yard. Edwards goes Payton again and threads it for 29 to Evans. 28-7 Bills

Returned to the 24. They break off a nice run, but Simpson gets them in the backfield next play. Another sack by, yep, Briggs. Then another by King.

3 and out to the 36. Broke 100 on the ground, but they stopped us on 3rd. Went for it and got it. Lynch proceeded to break 100. End of the 3rd. Edwards threads it again. Lynch goes in again, untouched. 35-7 Bills.

Super-simmed my offensive drives. Played out my Defensive drives.

Another sack by Campbell. Another Sack by Campbell. 3 and out.

We got a FG. 38-7 Bills.

Run for a 4 yard loss. Then a sack by Briggs. 3 and out after a pass to make it 4th and 1.

3 and out. Touch back.

First down to Shockey. Knocked down by Campbell. Another sack by Campbell. Hold to make it 3rd and 26. Picked by Simpson!

Another FG by Serna. 41-7 Bills.

Another Touch back.

Strip sack by Briggs, who also recovered it. TD run by Lynch. 48-7 Bills.

Another Touch back by Serna. Strip sack by Campbell. Recovered by King.

Another FG by Serna. 51-7 Bills.

Another Touch back by Serna. Another sack by Briggs. Another sack by Briggs after a nice pass to set up 3 and 1. Knocked down on 4th down.

Another FG by Serna. 54-7 Bills.

Another Touch Back by Serna. Another strip sack by Briggs. Recovered by Briggs. Another TD run by Lynch. 61-7 Bills.

Another touch back by Serna. Last play of the game, a 2 yard pass.

Bills beat Tampa Bay, 61-7.

Re: The Coaching Career of Ron Zeiglermuffin (NFL Head Coach 09)

Week 11 Vs. KC: Won 24-10
Signed Serna for 4.35 over 3 years.
We really won this game with the Defense. Yes, Lynch (21-104-1) had another great game, but 3 picks and 3 sacks are what won for us.

Week 12 @ NYJ: Lost 31-21
Lynch and Rice both had TDs, but Hammermill and his passing game were just too much for our D to handle.

Week 13 Vs. Miami: Won 45-35
Stroud out for the Season with a Bruised Hip. A BRUISED HIP. Picked up Shawn Rogers.
The game wasn't as close as the score would indicate, as they got 22 in the 4th. We ran all over them. Lynch (20-122-2) and Rice (12-50-1) continue their dominance. I don't think I'll have the 2nd best scoring defense this week though.

Week 14 @ Carolina: Won 26-10
There is a Fullback names Ryan Thigpen (USC, Karney) that I am in love with.
The Defense is playing out of it's mind right now. While it didn't put up any sexy stats, we still held them to 10 points. The rush has also been unstoppable, as Lynch (20-130-1) and Rice (12-50-1) just keep on keeping on. Even Omon (1-9-0) had a nice run.

Week 15 Vs. Jacksonville: Won 28-21
They almost shut down my run game, as Lynch only got 22-65-1, but Rice did well (11-48-1) and they both found the end zone. Briggs of all people had a pick 6. The loss eliminated the Jags from the playoffs. I clinched a playoff birth with the win.

Week 16 @ New Orleans: Won 49-35
Purchased RB Int Level 2 (HC), Perf level 4 (RBC, WRC).
Another shootout? No problem.Johnson started, and threw 2 tds, but Lynch (24-128-3), and Rice (16-71-1) to a lesser extent, was the reason I won this game. Lynch also had a passing reception. Performance is very helpful. Waddell had 2 Picks. Clinched the Division with the win. If I win the next game and Indy loses, I get the Conference. Otherwise, I'll be the #2 seed.

Week 17 @ Pittsburgh: Won 17-7
Got the Accounting Error Game changer!
Pro Bowlers:
R: Demario Waddel
P: Brian Moorman
SS: Donte Whitner
FS: Ko Simpson
OLB: Lance Briggs
DE: Calias Campbell
G: Derrick Dockery
T: Jason Peters
FB: Carl Stewart, Marcus Holmberg (Yep, 2 FBs)
HB: Marshawn Lynch
Won a great defensive match up against Pitt. Not many stats to speak of. Rice (15-63-1) vultured a TD from Lynch.

NYJ Ball. TB By Serna. They tried to run, unsuccessfully though. 3 and out again. To the 48.
