UNC Tar Heels

Great game today, Both our teams are still raw. I don't think there's any doubt the Heels will be right there at the top at the end of the year.

I think it was more the toughness of the bigs. Davis & Z got it going in the 2nd half. But in that first, they got their shots blocked way too easily & allowed UK to knock the ball loose too often. The pivots have to stop playing like they are going against 6'6" centers all the time. Go strong each & every opportunity.

I don't think anyone will knock these 2 out easily come March. If the Heels didn't get shell-shocked in that 1st half, I think they could have won. But that's why Roy schedules like he does. We'll see what they learn when they play Texas @ Jerry's house.

& I believe UK fans will say if Wall had been 100% the entire game, they would have won easily. So Cal no doubt is thinking of how to keep the Wildcats from being so dependent on one player. Dynamic as he is.

No I completely agree, Both teams are still very raw, but come tourney time, both teams could be unstoppable. So many weapons for both teams. And I agree it was concerning seeing how quickly we lost our poise without Wall. Our game can not fall apart like that, Wall is the leader, but we need to be more balanced in leadership. Were young and so are the Heels, Once Maturity sets in, look out for both teams!!

If Duke is shooting well, then I can see why he said that. I wouldn't be shocked if Duke swept UNC this year. But, it will probably be a split.

I'll be shocked. Very, very, very shocked. Maybe I'm wearing baby blue glasses, but I still see UNC as the superior team.

Yeah, I think Carolina is a better team, but Duke is due for winning sometime. Carolina is far more athletic and a lot better defensively. But Duke is a lot better on the perimeter, plus they are more experienced. Nothing more I would like to see than another sweep, but I am not getting my hopes up for that.
