Oregon needs Washington State to win tonight, or Utah goes to a re-match with USC. After what I saw from Oregon, I have to think Utah gives them a better game. Oregon's obviously a much more potent offense with the threat of Nix running and he clearly couldn't do that much today, but the way Oregon fell apart with all the mistakes in the 3rd and 4th, I wonder what they'd have left for next week. The refs were nice and helpful toward the end of the 2nd quarter, I've never seen such bad spots and an inexplicable review. Luckily we overcame it, but PAC officially remains a national joke for a reason. At least one I know is retiring and some more need to be retired.

Hopefully we get healthy before whatever bowl game-Holiday? because the injuries piled up against Cal and again today. Fun season though. I didn't get too excited last year when we were 7-5 because the conference was pitiful and we still got mugged by Utah State, but 9-3 with 2/3 on last second FG's and some fluke wins over Oregon and Stanford is overall a solid season and Smith looks like we're increasingly set up to be a regular winning team for the first time in a long time.
