Week 4 Discussion

1/4 of the regular season is already in the books and for the first time this season we get a week with more than just 1 or 2 ranked matchups.

6 games between ranked teams, and that 3:30 EST slot looking like it's time to invest in multiple TVs.

3:30
Colorado @ Oregon
UCLA @ Utah
Ole Miss @ Alabama

7:00
Oregon State @ Washington State

7:30
Ohio State @ Notre Dame
Iowa @ Penn State

Plus a couple more for teams just outside the top 25
12:00 FSU - Clemson
7:00 Arkansas - LSU

Re: Week 4 Discussion

I'm expecting Oregon to roll at home being the first team that is truly more talented than Colorado, plus the Buffs are without Hunter.

Part of me thinks that Alabama finally gets it going on offense, but that's more of a gut expectation. This really seems like the perfect time for Kiffin to get his win over his old boss.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have this feeling that OSU is going to blow Notre Dame away at some point in this one. Maybe it's close for a couple of quarters, but I just think MHjr breaks one and things eventually snowball

Words I never thought I'd write: Notre Dame might be underrated.
  • I think the Irish beat Ohio State.
  • Alabama and Clemson show they're not quite dead yet.
  • Oregon slows down the Colorado hype train.
I'll be happy to be wrong on any or all of these.

Oh, and hopefully Tennessee actually shows up this week.

Re: Week 4 Discussion

UVA got screwed over by the officiating at the end. The QB's helmet got knocked off during the hit he took and the officials penalized him for removing his helmet. The ensuing kickoff after the penalty was returned past midfield and NCST was able to kick the game winning FG.

Week 4 Discussion

I hope Oregon absolutely rolls Colorado.

Louisville gets Boston College at home. Hoping UofL can put together a full 4 quarter game.

I agree with most of this. But I think Florida St beats Clemson. I don't trust Clemson's QB. He struggled against Duke. This is a much bigger game. And Travis is the superior QB.
