First let me say that I have alot of respect for Pete Carroll and the USC program. However, be careful what you ask for. If SC and LSU did meet, the Trojans wouldn't be sticking it to anyone. At best it'd be a defensive struggle, which would probably make for a great game. Sadly, no matter what the outcome would be, the whole "2003 National Champions" debate would still go on.

SCs defense will hit the **** out of LSU if they meet. A defense full of hard hitters and great players being pissed off is not a good combo for the offense they face. Especially when USC has a reputation for being extremely well prepared in big games. If USC manages to get to the title game this year I don't think they'll have much trouble with anyone they face.
