Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

Lots of Buckeye posts here, but Urban is a game changer in recruiting.

Per NevadaBuck, keep on eye on 4* OL and current Badger commit Kyle Dodson. Nevada thinks he will be the next commit.

For those that don't recall, Kyle grew up a huge Buckeye fan but Tressel and staff slowplayed him, and he committed to Wisconsin a couple days after receiving his tOSU offer.

Alabama's already got 6 for the '12 class. Seven if you count Alfy Hill. Eddie Williams so far is the crown jewel. He's a likely 5-star on the level of Hasean Clinton-Dix in the 2011 class.

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

this probably doesn't belong in this thread since its not a '12 recruit but USC picked up its first recruit for 2013.

DE Kenny Bigelow out of Red Lion Academy in Delaware as committed.

FIGHT ON Kenny!

Re: 2012 Recruiting Thread

MGoBlog did an update on Michigan recruiting today:
http://mgoblog.com/content/thursday-...-ohio-now-what

Some notes:
Kalis says there's no way he's switching back to Ohio State.

Meyer and Hoke are both going very hard after Dunn. This will be the first major recruiting battle between the two.

The article made it sound like Michigan wants one more O-lineman, and that Michigan would like for that to be Zach Banner, Joshua Garnett, or Jordan Diamond. Between the three I have no idea who would commit first (if any). Josh Garnett seems the closest right now, but he has a bunch of visits to do and that changes everything.

Darboh sounds like he wants to wrap things up soon. Seems like he'll commit to Michigan.

Other notes are relatively minor, IMO. We all know Kalis is a beastly beast.

OL in order of likelihood:

1. Garnett

2. Diamond

3. Banner

Garnett has UM and Stanford at the top, but has more visits coming and isn't deciding anytime soon.

According to Ari Wasserman, a Buckeye Insider, Se'Von Pittman is leaning towards taking his official visit to Ohio State.

Wouldn't shock me at all if he flipped his commitment. That said, MSU has done a really good job of coaching up their defensive line. I think you'll see a fair share of MSU's current d-line eventually playing on Sundays and I hope he can see that. Hopefully he becomes a Spartan.
