I am not sure what to believe on this...
There are some reports and (I am sure this is just not going to happen) that this is going to get really ugly for Urban.
One guy at fox sports I believe, thinks Urban will be fired very soon.

Re: College Football Off Topic

I wonder if Urban Meyer survives this:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...ith/880995002/

https://www.facebook.com/TheBrettMcM...42037522486968

https://deadspin.com/zach-smiths-ex-...e-a-1828026007

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...ser/883518002/

The victim has apparently produced text messages that she sent to Urban's wife and others. I also read somewhere that Urban and his wife involved themselves back in 2009 (this coming straight from Urban's mouth) after a first incident of domestic violence by the same coach when they were at Florida. So it would seem very unlikely that the victim would share info with Shelley Meyer and then for her to not tell her husband about it.

I could see him surviving this, but I could also very easily see OSU having to let him go. Not that this is the same level as the Sandusky stuff, but with what happened with Paterno covering stuff up and with the frequent blowups at Michigan State and Baylor, the climate seems to be growing less tolerant of "win at any cost even if it means a **** ton of liability down the road."

97.1 in Columbus reporting that Urban is going on "paid administrative leave."

But-but "Urban Meyer is a GOD" or something.

Re: College Football Off Topic

I think Sprite was joking there.

Has any coach ever returned from "paid administrative leave"?

I figured. I was a Bucs fan while he was there so I don't have many found memories of him.
