So I learned today the suspension is only for games. Is that true? He is still leading practice?

Really tough penalties there.

I was just going to post about it. You are right, Meyer will be allowed to coach practice but from a 24 hr period on Fridays (no time frame has been announced) he can't have contact with the team.

A joke of a suspension is made even more ludicrous here. I'm not usually one to get all up in arms over things but this is just mind blowing. The AD who isn't nearly as involved as Meyer was is getting more of a punishment.

Mostly correct, yes. My understanding is he was suspended from ALL team activities through 9/1. After today's game, Urban Meyer is allowed to do any activities except actually be present on the sidelines (or in any coaching capacity) during the actual games thru TCU.

This was really a joke of a suspension, but I guess most are lucky to get even that out of a proceeding that was decided on by extreme OSU partisans (their own board).

I feel like Washington played well today but Auburn was better. Notre Dame looked pretty dominant against Michigan.

I was really pulling for App State. Good for PSU holding themselves together.

USC took too long to pull UNLV away, but they won. Daniels put up numbers.

ASU looked dominant against UTSA. That's interesting. Arizona is kinda getting whipped by BYU.

I was glad to see that Nebraska lost due to simple, preventable mistakes and didn't just get brutally outmatched like most of last year. They aren't good yet but they seem noticeably improved.
