Does Kelly even want to go back to college football and would he really choose UCLA over Florida?

I can see a rationale for firing him as there's been diminishing returns the last few years but if it's just in the vain hope of getting Chip Kelly than that's a bit of a "cut your nose in spite of your face" type deal. I know in CFB they tend to basically have a new coach in place even before they fire the coach so maybe the administration there feels like they have Kelly but if they lose out on that then this firing looks worse than it should.

Choosing LA over Gainesville would be this easiest decision he'd have to make in his life. Honestly, if he were to come back to college football, a UCLA program that is committed to winning would be the better fit in my mind for him. He seems like a west coast guy all the way.

Rumor has it that the Florida AD is in New Hampshire this afternoon looking to come home with Kelly's signature on the contract. We'll see if it actually happens now that UCLA is available.

He's in recruiting heaven. That state has so many great athletic talent to the point that Kelly will have that offense killin' it week in and week out very soon....The defense though?
