Re: rspencer86's 20-Minute All Conference Sliders

here, i will post exactly what sliders i have put in.
i like to steal and i play fullcourt press and with the first man i just try to steal it while running towards him.

Now I changed the time up and it seems to flow with my rushed offense.
I'll only post the stuff that I really changed too

Gameplay

Difficulty: All-Conference
Game Speed: Fast
Half Length: 13 minutes
Sim Half: 16 minutes
Real Player FT: OFF

Sliders

Inside Range 47/47
Mid Range 54/54
3pt 55/48
Dunk 45/45
Layup 45/45
Freethrow 60/45

Attributes
OFF AWR: 0/8
Ball Handling 5/5
Speed 55/55

Thats all I changed.
I think because I switched to the 2k camera, I got better at steals.
I get most of my steals when they try to spin w/ the ball, thats why I bumped ball handling up to 5.
Giving them 8 OFF AWR really made a huge impact on the games.
I was blowing people out until I bumped that up.

Here is the game I just finished!

UT-Martin 63
Mississippi St. 75

I had a good, accurate game using my adaptions.
I thought about it and its just how I play.
Any team is capable of stealing like me, its just my skill.

It's good that you are getting enjoyable games! I'll be honest, though: your settings are quite different than mine.

Scotty, while it's good you're able to use Spencer's sliders as a base for your own, he is right. Your sliders are much different than his. Enjoy nevertheless.

^^ This last game the cpu drove more as I jumped out on their shooters. That resulted in more FTA. To be honest, I picked up many fouls from my cpu players reaching in. This brought NCSTATE into bonus quicker as well. Also notice that I shot the greatest number of threes this game, maybe the most in any video game I've ever played. That's because the defense gave me the three. They played a lot of zone so I couldn't drive as much. This resulted in my lowest number of FTA. Also notice that I kept them in the low 60s for the first time (yeppeeeeee!). This is something I dont' think I even did with my previous slider set at 16-min halves.

Another thing is my rebounding is better. Not as much OREB given up. In fact, I out OREB them this time (another yeppeeeeeeeeeeee). I'm loving these sliders.

Re: rspencer86's 20-Minute All Conference Sliders

The only things I did was change the time for the flow of my play and made the computer a little better so they can score faster.
Try my adaptions and see what happends.

Scotty, that's understandable. As with most sliders I figured these would need adjustments depending on the user skill level. It seems you are more advanced than me and, therfore need to give the AI a boost. I see these sliders as a good base for my current skill level but I figure I'll eventually need to adjust them as I improve. right now these seem perfect for me.

hope to see more of ur contributions. Do u have a legacy thread?

That's a thread where you track your Legacy. There are a bunch of examples here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...splay.php?f=25

I had a great game last nigh. I replayed last week's UNC vs Duke game at Cameron. Although I lost this epic overtime battle, it was the most intense game from start to finish. Demarcus Nelson went off on me.

These sliders have shown that they produce high scoring games, low scoring games balanced games and blowouts. BTW, I use rotation subs and in this particular game i let the computer controll my substitutions for the first half. I did mostly manual subs in the second half and overtime. Here is the boxscore:

Code:
Game 7: 3/11/2008	UNC (me) at Duke (cpu)
