Ugg, just called MS.

They now have the dead 360 and instead of the old 1-3 business promise, instead it's 7 business days.

We could have it at the end of this week or the end of next week. They must have a ton of repairs going on.

Thats what mine did before the three lights came.....The customer service rep said all those are signs of hardware failure. Just a few tries or so should get the three lights very soon for you....

They extended the RRoD to 3 years, so once you get that, you will get it fixed for free.

In general, how long does it take to get your 360 back (or a replacement) after you send the defective one in?

From your initial phone call to the refurbished unit at your doorstep, they are now claiming 3-4 weeks. It used to be 3 weeks.

Just wanted to clarify, that is if you ever get the RRoD again. It doesn't cover disc drives or other malfunctions.
