On a side note - Is Gears Tactics PC only? That's the way it sounded during the conference. Anyone know? Thanks.
PC only, yes.

I wouldn’t rule out it coming to console eventually.

I hope so. After playing and completing Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle a few months ago, im into strategy RPG's where as before I wasn't. A strategy RPG set in the Gears universe? Okay, cool. But only PC now is meh.

But the luxury is there for say Super Meat Boy 2 to be released in 20 years and it work on every Xbox from the One onward.
I think it would a great move to allow the 1X to become the new min spec for the next gen games. When the 7 nm tech is available, they will be able to manufacture a cheaper 1X to go along with their new hardware. This will give customers a cheap option to get into the ecosystem.

I was very impressed with MS this year. Very excited for the future and for now.

Theory would be drop the 1X to 200 and have a 400 newer box I'd think. Would be smart if they can do it and not completely hamstring devs....but I bet 1X and a future console wouldn't be horribly different so it's realistic

Re: Microsoft E3 2018 Discussion

Well Scarlett is reportedly a family of devices, so we'll see if there's a newer more powerful single box as part of that.

Kinda expecting clients (to enable streaming to other TVs/devices) similar to DirecTV's minis that attach to TVs and just provide an interface for a streamed signal... and perhaps other form factors for existing hardware, though I'm not expecting a MS handheld.
