So, while the crashes continue, I finally talked to a human from Sony today.

We went through multiple troubleshooting steps and attempted fixed before finding that none of his workarounds would get me playing PS5 games (PS4 games still play fine).

He basically said they know it’s going on, be patient as engineers are working on a fix. It’s a BS answer, my sons is humming along nicely and I crash when mine looks at a next gen game. He said check back in a week.

Well it finally happened. Got my first crash today. Just out of the blue everything just stopped and the report error screen popped up. Not good

Hearing the system may have sold 2.1-2.5 million on day 1 WW. I am not sure how that would compare to ps4.

Does anyone remember like what was shown at the 2013 video game awards just after ps4 and xbox one had came out? Any chance ratchet and clank rift apart gets a new trailer and release date?


Started replaying the last guardian last night for about 3 hours and had like no frame rate drops. On ps4 it dropped frame rate a lot. It's one of the more underrated ps4 games but the frame rate drops where annoying. Glade to see it runs smoothly on ps5. Been a while sense I played it only beat it once going to beat it a second time. First game I have really played on ps5 with it's bc.

I can see Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart getting a new trailer and release date as im still expecting it around March/April. Hopefully, we'll know in two weeks from Thursday.
