Honestly the faster you can get to the Mike Glennon days, the better it may be for the program as a whole. He was a major prospect and if I had to answer who has the second best arm behind Ryan Mallett is name is near the top of my list. Funny we are arguing about Ponder and Wilson when neither may even be the best QB on their own team between Glennon and E.J. Manuel.

I agree with you to an extent. It just hurts to lose Russ because he was a touchdown machine. I saw Glennon in the spring game and he has an absolute cannon for an arm, he definitely shows a lot of promise. With the solid WR corps the pack has they could do some damage. The question mark is still on the defense and whether or not they will be able to stop anyone.

Baseball teams usually don't waste a number four pick on someone who they don't think will sign and they have more than like been in contact with Russell. He has a scheduled a five pm conference and may be gone then.

He's a 90 +/-

His awareness may have to be lowered for trying to tackle McDaniel after he was clearly warned to get out of the way

Maybe I'm stepping on toes here, so let me first say I played football for seven years. Now that thats established, I have met many genius "Football smart" people who are some of the dumbest academic people I know.

He was the first team ALL ACC QB.... He is dominant at what he does, which is run the Triple Option. He's not a 92 overall drop back passer, but I'd say he is a 92 overall Triple Option QB.

I see what you are saying. Too bad NCAA doesn't rate on Offensive Styles, you might would have a point
