His stats for last season would warrant an A. But his leadership skills, playmaking ability, smarts and everything in a all-around quarterback would warrant him a B. Stats don't mean everything. He leads by example and if it wasn't for his injury last year we probably wouldn't even be having this discussion because he probably would be in the NFL. Ponder injury was the best thing that could have happened to FSU and Jimbo Fisher in his first year. Also allows EJ Manuel to get more experience cause he is going to be special.

Ya, ima Gator,
Im just stating my opinion. Tebow had problems getting the ball downfield, He held the ball too long, only thew to wide open receivers. That last season our offense was hard to watch. i think they gonna be able to open it up a little more with brantly because he can throw the ball.

I think Ponder would have played well under Meyer, he has better QB skills than Tebow did and he has enough speed on him to where the D would have to respect the option.

Its yet to be seen if Brantley is better than Ponder, i think Ponder is better than Harris though.

LOL @ Case Closed.

You can't base it off one game.

However I agree that Ponder is a better QB then Harris right now.

Man you know good and well we played a bunch of bum teams. And when we played anybody with a reasonable defense our offense would struggle to string drives together. We relied on speed busting up the middle or guys running wide open down the sideline.

Really, once you took away demps, rainey, moody from busting up the middle and forced us to pass, we were done.

Re: Christrian Ponder Rating What you think

I'm surprised Florida was ranked 6th in offense. From the games I've watched of them I thought their offense wasn't as good as previous years.
