I agree with the OP. Every year I get the game early and post my thoughts, both good and bad. But yet because I don't nitpick or criticize heavily enough to some people's likings I'm always accused of sugarcoating or whatever, to try to sell them on the game (like I really care who buys it..). And this is despite the fact I do post criticisms. I guess I don't go overboard and get all doom and gloomy though enough for some folks.

This year, I believe I'm really going to upset a lot of folks with my early impressions though..because if the demo is any indication I'll have a lot of good things to say...

Oh and cdon2k - speak for yourself. I'm still playing both Madden and NCAA 10 and will be right up until the new games are out. I do agree though we have had to fight hard for a lot of stupid things we should already have (dreadlocks on NCAA - NO DREADS, NO PEACE) but don't assume because you're not playing the games year round that a lot of other folks aren't, despite the issues.

I'm speaking for the majority. If you want to argue that, then just look at the posts/general feeling on message boards around the web. I think the majority is what matters most.

You actually think the message boards reflect real data numbers? You have any idea the mass amount of people that get these games that don't go to any online sports gaming sites like OS? THEY are the majority...not us. Not even close.
