Re: Your Recruiting Strategy

Through 6 weeks with Louisville I've gained three 3* recruits and started out by targeting 20. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't target that many.

With a 4-2 record, Texas has signed NINE 5* recruits already. NINE.

Yeah, that is alot. But something that we have seen recently, note USC. Not saying Texas should recruit that many, but it has happened.

Re: Your Recruiting Strategy

how many players from a state do you have to have on your roster in order for it to be considered a pipeline state?

Re: Your Recruiting Strategy

Okay i just started my first dynasty after getting roster names with Miami. I chose the top players who were interested that fulfilled my needs at FB, SS, P. Those 4 four guys are my top 4 prospects. the next 6 guys are all the highest recruits who are #1 interested in my school. I spend 1 hr on these 10 guys and only offer instantly to the ones who im #1 with. In the first week i got two commits. Now i am starting the game for this week.

My question is this: Every week do i still need to talk to the players who have committed or can i replaced them with more interested players...will they back out of the their commit? They both are hard commits as well...thnx

You don't need to keep talking to them but don't remove them from your board, I'm pretty sure that revokes their scholarship

Re: Your Recruiting Strategy

I only recruit the top 20 players that are interested in my school. I give each recruit 30 minutes to start. I usually offer all recruits during the first week. As I gain commitments I use the extra time on the players that I'm recruiting that I really want to get. I also mainly recruit 5 *'s. The only time I recruit a 3 * is if it an athlete because often times they are better than their ranking indicates.

With this strategy I always have the #1 ranked class.

Re: Your Recruiting Strategy

I've seen a yes and no to this question before, but does losing games affect how recruits feel toward you that season? Like if you lose a game, recruits will lose points with you?

Re: Your Recruiting Strategy

Not sure but I think it only effects them if you have them visiting that week.
