In a non televised game it will be UCF coming to town, to face your Akron Zips with a 12:00pm start time. Theres alot of questions to this years Akron team, as Terry Bowden and staff begin trying to build the program into a winner.

One of the big questions is how the players will be able to adapt to the new schemes and how the staff will be able to adjust their schemes to the players? Can Chuck Amato turn around a defense that has struggled? How will the Spread Option do in its first year under the command of OC Matt O'Bannon? Can The Zips get high talented recruits to sign with Akron.

Well tomorrow will we will see the first chapter to these questions. Herbstriet has UCF winning the game.

Make sure you go out and get your tickets and support the Zips. The Fear The ROO tradition begins!!

Good luck in your first game with the Zips. After playing your first game at Infocision you're going to fall and love and never want to leave Akron haha...a minor thing, Chisholm changed his number from #44 to #7.

Wow. I was stuck at 4th and forever up 6. 53 yd field goal, or just go for it and hope I get the first down. I ended up going for the FG. Launch one, perfect power, accuracy looked right. Came up about half a yard short, but the cross bar gods were with me and it went in! Longest FG I think i've made in NCAA in a while.

Miami got the ball back with about 5 minutes left and pushed the ball up the field. I had them on 4th and 13, they pretty much needed a TD to get the first down. They prevailed.

24-26 VT

With 35 seconds left, Miami had one timeout. They were forced to go for the expected onside kick. A perfectly placed onside kick was booted, but one of their players had a premature touch and they were hit with a penalty. VT heads back home with the W and ACC Championship in reach if they can get past GT who has been giving them problems for the past 2 years. A home game vs Virginia is in two weeks before finding out where they'll land in bowl season.

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

Played the 1st game of my 7th season with #10. Tulane against GT(pro offense). That game was too close for comfort. It was a close game until mid 4th. I pulled away to win by 23. They got as close to down 6 with 9 mins left. I was able to score 17-0 run to end the game. Our offense didnt let us down this game. Put up 497 yards. My FR QB Tidwell proved why he was the #1 QB last year. He went for 24-30 337 yards, 4 TDs(1 INT), and 50 yards rushing. My top 3 WRs are very good possession WRs(6'2 220 and higher). I didnt really like my run game, but they did the job. My defense was another story. I was able to get 7 sacks, 4 INTs(2 TDs), and held the QB to 58 %. But, other than that it was very disappointing. We gave up 481 yards.

I only have 10 players on my recruiting board. Alot of my positions are locked up for the next 2-3 seasons. All the positions. If anything I am getting players I will RS.

Re: The Official How's Your Dynasty Going Thread NCAA 13

Starting a new dynasty with FAU and my lord this is going to be rough. I just wanted to start out recruiting Florida players that were only interested in one or two teams. I'd say 3/4 of them are being recruited by Florida and Bama. Anyways Imma keep it on Heisman and I don't want to delete my CU one yet. To tough and it'll feel something like Penn State getting all there games taken away. Well not exactly but y'all get the point.

Week 4 @UCLA

First drive was a bit up and down as Sean Mannion picked out Brandin Cooks on a play action pass for 49yds but the following play saw Malcolm Agnew fumble the ball and it was recovered by UCLA, I looked at the replay and decided to challenge it luckily for me the booth was on my side and overturned the call which immediately resulted in Zack Robinson finding the end zone from a 20yd lobbed pass from , 7-0 Beavers

Great start to their opening Pac-12 game by Oregon State as UCLA's first drive was abruptly ended after a great pass rush by DJ Welch forced UCLA QB Kevin Prince to fumble the ball straight into the hands of defensive lineman Scott Crichton, the Beavers marched down the field and Jovan Stevenson rushed for the 6yd score, 14-0 Beavers

2nd quarter now and UCLA hit back with a 20yd TD off a great screen pass by Kevin Prince to find Damien Thigpen
UCLA's defense must be asleep as Zack Robinson was left wide open for a 47yd TD and his 2nd TD of the game, Sean Mannion has came out firing today after quite a poor showing last time out against Wisconsin
The Bruins have only got themselves to blame as the very next drive may have ended this one, Kevin Prince was picked off by Anthony Watkins on the first play then yet again the Beavers took advantage of a non existent defense and Sean Mannion lofted one straight over the top to Markus Wheaton who ran it in for a 52yd TD, Beavers lead 28-7 with still 2mins to go in the half is it game over already?
I can safely say yes barring a second half miracle by the Bruins, Kevin Prince sacked on 2nd & 10 picked himself up only to throw the ball straight into the hands of Rashaad Reynolds who gladly accepted the easy pick 6

Halftime: Beavers 35 UCLA 7

Spoke too soon? UCLA hit back, picking off Mannion for their own pick 6 courtesy of Aaron Porter
Other than that play it was a quiet 3rd quarter, 35-14 heading into the 4th surely my defense won't give up a 3 TD lead.........

I decided that I wasn't gonna risk it and ran down the clock as much as I could and marched down the field and scored with 1:18 left, Jovan Stevenson with a 2yd rushing TD to seal this one.
UCLA will not go down without a fight a record breaking 79yd TD Kevin Prince finding Jordan Payton with 51 seconds to go, think I must have fell asleep myself on that play!

FINAL: Oregon State 42 UCLA 21
