I notice more missed passes for the CPU when you aren't pressuring all of the time. Whether it's manual or assisted, the CPU errors (more realistic) occur when you are containing them and being patient, and has nothing to do with your control settings.

Re: Manual Fifa

Been playing All Manual for years. Definitely part of the minority. I posed the possibility of an All Manual league here last year. I think one person said they would play and we never played a game. It's a shame because the beauty of the game really shines through when all of the assistance is turned off. Fixes a lot of the perceived 'issues' with the game in my opinion.

Re: Manual Fifa

I made the switch recently and it's like a whole new game, really like the passing now. Seems like you can do so much more with manual. To be honest though it's tough learning how to shoot manual the passing is great though.

Shooting is a bear. I feel like World Cup finally made manual shooting accessible. Not so sure on the FIFA 11 demo yet - still feels really difficult in comparison.

What are the perceived issues that you believe all manual fixes?

I still keep lob passes assisted, but am manual on all shooting and passing. I recommend it highly.
That's a great point. I love the fact that when I miss a pass, cross, or shot, the only one to blame is me.

Re: Manual Fifa

I've been trying all manual settings, but I cannot shoot for the life of me. I either shoot it right down the middle or towards a corner. Any tips for shooting?

Re: Manual Fifa

I'm curious about the shooting as well. Maybe I'll give all manual a try tonight on WC.

I would love an all manual league. If they don't already, FIFA should have an all manual only lobby. That could help generate a nice little community.
