you keep the card but cannot put the player into your lineup until a contract card is applied to him. You can only hold so many player cards, so you if you have a bunch of guys with expired contracts doing nothing you usually end up discarding them (aka throwing them away). What I like to do is keep every card I have until I am forced to make a choice, then I just get rid of the lowest rated players at the position in which I have the most depth.

sure thing. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who likes the Ultimate Team mode (which is pretty much the only reason I still have Madden 11).

It's the only reason I really pick up any games. I've learned a lot about the sport through the game, and the players especially. I've been working on getting lessons ready for tomorrow, correcting tests, and other teacher things straight for nearly 2.5 hours, my price is playing UT tonight. This will be so nice.

Question for those that use the Web App...do your bid tokens replenish over time, or once they are gone, are they gone forever?

I haven't seen mine replenish at all. I try to use them sparingly, usually only making buy-now bids on players with low buy-now prices. I don't like getting into bidding wars, seems like a waste of tokens.

I know you can "purchase" more bid tokens using the in-game coins. They are expensive though.

Bid Tokens will replenish as you use them but it takes a few minutes i think.
