Re: World Cup 2010

I hung onto to this game and sold FIFA 12. While FIFA 12 is the better game overall, particularly in terms of gameplay and physics, FIFA World Cup 2010 is a keeper. The presentation is excellent. Given all of the international teams being represented, the replay possibilities are unlimited. This game will supply my soccer gaming fix until FIFA 13 ships.

I might have to grab a copy of this again. The presentation was very enjoyable.

I would say this game is well worth the purchase for whatever you intend to use it for.
wow, talk about a massive undertaking. I know I couldn't do that. How are you doing that? I did something similar (I'd end up simming a lot of the qualifying somehow) and would play the world cup final as all 32 teams. One half with one team and the second half with the other. It was a good time.

After watching the Euro I've kind of had the itch to do it again.

Just started at the different confederations and started from round 1 all the way to the finals of the world cup. I had to go to fifa.com to learn the 2010 methods and how each confed selects their teams ect.

Yeah, I figured that. I was wondering if you were playing as one team, playing a half with each or just watching. Either way, there is like 800 matches of qualifying before you get to the finals. I'd like to see how it ends up!

Nah, I simulate the games, takes about 25 minutes a game.

I thought about posting something on here but, I don't know, just never have.
