I have to say that now that I can compare the different type of posts that I enjoy the ones with the text more since it's easier to follow the teams progress and you get more detailed information about the games, transfers and so on, just my opinion but since I read that you were after feedback I thought i would give mine.

Saw you bought Ciftci! He has been a total beast for me so I think he will be a really good addition to your team!
What are your aim for the season? Promotion? Since You have really started to pick up a lot of points.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Millwall's new manager Erik Falaph has called to a press conference in preperation for his first competitive game as Millwall Manager

Press conference:

Q: Are you exited for your first competitive game in charge of Millwall?

A: Well, of course I am! It would have to be something wrong with me if I wasn’t exited for the start of the new season.

Q: The Millwall board has been very open with the fact that they aim for a mid-table finish, is this also your aim?

A: I would have to say that I aim a little higher, I have my eyes set on competing for the playoff places and I think that it is achievable.

Q: We have noticed that there have been a lot of players going in and out from the club are this something that will continue till the end of the transfer window?

A: Yes, I still have a few transfer targets left so a lot can happen.

Q: Are we going to see one or all of the new players making their debut for the club today against Bolton?

A: You will get to see Zelalem,Nicholls and Cataldi make their debuts but I am not sure about Bellerin, he just arrived at the club yesterday so he might need a little more time to adjust to his new surroundings.

End of press conference.

Start of season 1: Competitive fixtures:
August:

Capital One Cup: 1st Round

Millwall – Bolton (4-1)

• 74’ Cifci (Zelalem) (1-0)
• 82’ Cowan-Hall (Martin) (2-0)
• 87’ Gudjohnsen (2-1)
• 89’ Cataldi (Martin) (3-1)
• 90+’ Cowan-Hall (Martin) (4-1)

Recap: After a slow first half substitutions were made which were Zelalem, Martin and Cowan-Hall coming in for Millwall and they changed the game completely with Zelalem dominating the midfield, Cowan-Hall scoring two goals and Martin assisting to two.

MOTM: Lee Martin: Dominated his wing completely both defensively and offensively as well as assisting to two goals.

Matchday 1:

Millwall – Wigan (1-1)

• 45’ Maloney (0-1)
• 67’ Ciftci (Cowan-Hall) (1-1)

Recap: A well-played game between two evenly matched teams that ended in a 1-1 draw not much more to say really. Disappointing to not start with a win but a draw is acceptable.
MOTM: Maloney (Wigan) Stood for Wigan’s creativity and scored a beautiful goal.

Matchday 2:

Birmingham – Millwall (0-1)

• 59’ Gueye (Cataldi) (0-1)

Recap: A pretty boring game between two opponents who both focused primarily on the defensive. Millwall was the more effective team on the counter which was what made the difference in this game.

MOTM: Mark Beevers: He had an amazing game; he just shoved the attackers of the ball over and over again and was also very dominant in the air. His performance this game showed why he is the captain.

Matchday 3:

Millwall – Bournemouth (1-0)

• 50’ Lingard (Ciftci) (1-0)

Recap: Nothing really happened in this game, Millwall was in control of the possession but struggled to create chances but eventually in the 50th minute they scored through Lingard and after that just kept hold of possession.

MOTM: Gedion Zelalem: Was instrumental to Millwall with his brilliant passing and hard defensive work.

August recap:

To summarize it August was a very eventful month with a lot of players leaving the club as well as a lot of players coming into the club. I am happy with the signings we have made due to the fact it was mainly young players with a lot of growth left in them and that some transfers were unbelievably cheap. We also managed to get rid of a lot of the older players with high wages which was really good!

Regarding the matches that we played I have to say that I am satisfied, we collected 7 out of 9 points in the league which leaves us at 4th place on goal difference behind Cardiff and Wolves.
We also advanced to the next round of the capital one cup after beating Bolton with 2-1 at home. Preston awaits us in the second round.
However we only scored 3 goals in 3 games which aren’t that good so that is an area in which we will try to improve in the coming games. We only conceded 1 goal in those 3 league games so that is a positive that we will bring with us to the upcoming games.

Player of the month:

Mark Beevers: He has led the defence to several excellent performances and without him our lack of goals scored could have cost us a lot more points. He has really showed that I did the right choice when making him captain.

Thanks! Ciftci was a guy that I grabbed back in FIFA 14 and he absolutely tore it up for me in my old Morecambe career, becoming my first unstoppable striking option. Wanted to bring him back in 15, but never had enough budget to pull it off with Exeter.

The board only set the expectations at mid-table, so I think I am pretty safe for the season in that regardless of what happens the next few months.

On my phone the way I center it is by typing "center" but in brackets [ ] at the very beginning of the post, and then at the very end I type "/center" but also in brackets [ ]. Hope that helps!

I would try guessing at the goal scorers but I'm not sure I understood. Did you win 5-2 or lose 5-2? Lol

That Bilbao match would have really annoyed me, but I think it's just a sign of how superior their squad is to yours. I mean, to have a 3 man advantage and still just barely get a draw plus with your goalkeeper being MOTM, that pretty much means that even with 3 men down they were still on top of you. Don't feel too bad though, Bilbao is a top table team. Would you mind posting the league table in your next update to give us a better picture of how you're doing in the league? Even just a photo of the league table would suffice. Just a suggestion. Keep it up!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Man, there is so much to catch up. Apologies in advance if I happen to miss out on someone!

@Simppu Things seem to be going just perfect at United. You have enough world-class depth that if one player doesn't perform, someone of similar quality can come in to do the job. I'll be disappointed if you don't win the treble with this kind of talent.

@10cabee Mate, I really like your signings. You brought in a couple of unknown but decent players. If you need a bit of extra pace, might I recommend Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Nantes. He's a great player and should be available for a few hundred grand, which should be ideal for you.

@Tex Yes! I knew you would be able to make the jump and adjust to it. A poor start has now turned into a good run to the top of the table, which I fully expect you to keep up. Am I right in thinking the higher difficulty has you playing with more technique and less pace/athleticism? That was the case for me. Before that, I tried too hard to get the ball up the pitch quickly, and I kept losing to really weak sides. Also, I have to agree somewhat with Jamie. I do prefer the written posts, but it's a lot easier to get a quick recap through your graphic updates. Nonetheless, glad to see you have come back to the written updates.

@Keano Yes, I see a lot of similarities with West Brom as well. Gakpe is my equivalent of Redmond, and Djilobodji is doing what Lescott did, which is make sure we have a strong foundation. I like your progress with Swansea, too. The 5-0 against Sunderland was fantastic, and I like that league table. Hope you don't mind if I do something similar?

@Cruzerr
Another incredible read. Interesting that PSG and Napoli came in for you. I don't see that happen too often, where top European teams go in for League Two players, but you are a special talent. Sad to hear about the knee injury. Hopefully, you don't lose too many attribute points from these setbacks.

@Chico I'm feeling the Osasuna career already. Your first post was really packed with pessimism, but I knew you would come around after a game or two, and you did! I think your signings were decent enough. Have a look at the free agents, too. There are a couple of decent players in there, who can do a job for you at least until you reach the top division, at which point you can sell them for a million each. Yeah, the Achilles is probably one of the most frustrating injuries I've ever had, and that's saying something considering I once shattered my femur into 16 pieces in a motorcycle accident. But hell, if I can come back from that and play semi-professional cricket, I can probably make it past this.

@Falaph Welcome aboard, mate. Millwall should be an interesting career. Glad to see you got on the Cataldi bandwagon. He really is a fantastic investment, buying for so cheap and being able to sell for £12-15 million after just one season! It's a great tactic for anyone in the second division of a league, even if they don't plan on holding onto him for the long-term. Speaking of Millwall, we (Chelsea) might face them in the FA Cup, if they beat Bradford City. It'd be the first Chelsea-Millwall game since '95, and I'm thinking of booking tickets to London to watch the match. Should be a proper time with all the portly old geezers in their finest! Can't wait to see the Guv'nor kick lumps out of their back four.

@Kenny I like your transfer targets. They're all very realistic, except maybe Tiote, because in honesty who actually wants him? Still, I look forward to seeing who you bring in to strengthen the defence. If you want a good CDM, I recommend Liam Bridcutt. He's British, too, so that should be an added incentive.

@Jagger You should know that Ron Harris, Steve Clarke, Eddie McCreadie and Peter Osgood all played their last professional games for us. JT and Drogba look like retiring with us as well. Don't judge an entire club by the actions of one player.

@Jamie That's high praise mate, I appreciate it! Was nice speaking with you as well, and I think that's one of reasons we all get along so well. We've never met, but we're not complete strangers, you know? Yeah, the Sunderland career was pretty intense. I wish I could have completed that one. Maybe I'll go back to England later on. We'll see how it pans out.

Awwww yeah Çiftçi is back! I always hated playing against him when I managed Scotland, but I love seeing him destroy the opposition under your command. Greece was a tough opponent for me and he was the main reason. I'm a bit on the fence regarding your update style. Jamie is right as in the template doesn't allow enough details, but at the same time the template was faster to read. I still enjoy your written updates though. I'm sure a lot of us will get even more hooked into the career now that you'll be adding more details on to it.

I'm really interested in seeing more from the twins when they arrive next season. I like how you brought in both of them instead of just one. I had the Murphy twins at Wimbledon, but Jacob was way past Josh as far as talent on the field. Looking forward to seeing the twins dominate German football! Hopefully.

Amazing how you're in 1st place after such a difficult start to the season. Looks like Legendary is a piece of cake for you now!
