1. Many of us use manual simply because it's harder. It requires you to concentrate on every pass no matter where it's at. It's also very rewarding when you make that final pass that sets up a goal scoring chance. It takes time to get used to but it gives the game a different dynamic. But in the end it's up to you and what you prefer.

2. If you're on pc you can ask matt what mod he uses (cheater) . If you're on console then 0 height 20 zoom.

Matt plays with 0 and zoom 20 or default ..?

Hey guys,

Tested the new preference set last night for a couple of games. Wasn't feeling it. The CPU didn't seem interested in tackling, or pressing me at all - time on the ball was incredibly high.

I've reverted back to the actual set, and will stick with this for the forseeable. The game feels good on set 6 (or 5.5 or whatever it's called!). I've recently set all passing to Manual, so i'm going to concentrate on trying to actually pass the ball to a teammate!

Last night, I found the solution to most of my problems. I set the CPU keeper to 100 and finally both the game experience and the long term result is rewarding.

Yes, testing it at 40. They were still making very solid connections to the ball despite the shot speed raised quite a bit.

Can you go into a bit more detail on why 100 is viable?

Did you try to raise the marking values? As I indicated in my explanation of the preferences WIP that I was still looking at marking.

From your experience, when doing this, any useful or promising thresholds to look at?
Like, for example, try to go to 57 from 52, next would be 60 (and so on), or is it click by click?

Only changes I've made is marking to 60 and GK to 35 everything else is Matt's set. Liking it so far. I think 35 is still the sweet spot for realistic keepers. Shot error in the 53-55 range. Shot speed I've tried 47-53 still not sold on anything. Too many balls hitting the woodwork myself and the CPU on both goals and misses.
