Like multiple people have said, the crew isn't bad, its the fact that a lot of the lines are so goddamn dated. I do like Gary Thorne, but I wouldn't mind hearing Joe Beninati with Bill Clement in '14... The way Beninati says someone's name after a goal is so fierce... "SCOORREE! MIKE RRRRIICHARDS!" They really need to let Clement just go all out and add his little quirks into the commentary though, he is easily one of the best color guys around when he's on his game throwing out his amazing bits.

Just, for the love of God, no Doc, Eddie and/or Pierre if they change the crew up. They all suck something so fierce. I could only tolerate them if they only did the SCF and WC. I do not need Doc Emrick acting like every shot I take on goal is a monumental occasion ("SHOOOTING ONNEEE" would get stale before the first intermission), or Eddie O's constant pointing out of the obvious, and I sure as **** don't want Pierre McGuire self-promoting like he does between the glass, repeating the point he made 20 minutes ago fifteen freaking times like it was a stroke of Mensa-level genius.

LOL agreed, I dunno, I love Thorne though. Clement though, even when he did the game with Hughson just sounds uncomfortable most of the time.

Pierre: Devils just need to shoot high on Quick, RIGHT EDZO? RIGHT? VALIDATE ME PLEASE! TELL ME I'M RIGHT! PLEASE! some team just needs to give him a GM or Scouting job and get him the hell off my tv screen already.
