How's Your GM Mode Going?

Man would be enjoying gm mode so much more if it displayed goals scored on season and not the current game and had more stat banners On screen.

I haven't yet gotten into the season too much this season. One thing that pops out so far is just a bland menu. What's so hard about getting a SIMPLE menu that is quick and easy. I don't even know where to go to set my lines' schemes where it will actually save.

Just let the patch install and it will work with existing BeaGM careers.

Kicked off my Blues BeaGM tonight since the latest patch/tuner/rosters.

Quite a great game, no score after the first period, but in the 2nd we go up 1-0 as Patrik Berglund scores the first Blues goal of the season. We add another goal as Petro fires a slap shot top left corner. We were up 2-0 after 2 periods. We seem to be in control but David Backes gets a 5:00 game misconduct and we find ourselves holding on for dear life. The Rangers score and now trail 2-1 with 5 minutes left in the game. We escape the rest of the power play and Rick Nash fires a back hand goal past Elliott to tie the game with just under 3 minutes to go.

Jaden Schwartz takes a perfect pass from Ryan Reaves and wrists home the goal that puts the Blues into the lead for good and we win 3-2 to kick off the season!

A fantastic way to start the season. Up next is Calgary.

After the last content update, I decided to start a new GM career with the Sabres. Somehow, I find it more difficult to win than in my last GM mode with the Flames.
I'm up to a 0-3 start sofar, with losses against Chicago, Tampa and Nashville. The main problem I'm having is that although I outshot each team nearly 2-1, I don't score enough goals or rather Neuvirth seems to let in lazy goals quite often. Anyway, here's my current roster:

Hey guys, has anyone noticed a bit of a strange bug or well, thing with the new GM Draft?

Basically what happened is, I enjoyed the hell out of the new Draft, great job there and all, but yeah anyways, I drafted this sniper in the 1st round, 16th overall. After the draft I go check out his potential, it's Low Elite (Or well, Red Elite) and I'm all fine with that.

Then I do the resigning or everyone and free agents, sim to start of season, don't play a single game or anything and go check out some stuff, and I noticed that this guy had already dropped from Low Elite-Potential to Low Top6-Potential? I mean, without ever playing a game or anything, he had dropped in one off season basically a whole rating? (From 4,5 red stars to 4 red stars).

I mean.. what the hell?

Trading even on hard is very easy. I don't see the point in draft picks in NHL because the guys I try to develop never work out.
