Putting a two minute tutorial on how to power cycle your modem might be a good punishment. Good thinking. They could actually pass that off.

Lol that's hilarious but I don't think no one would fall onto something like that unless the game gets locked up from quitting.

Re: Temporary Ban For "Rage" Quitters?

I really don't care if they rage or not - I really don't. As long as that W shows, that's all I care about. If I really wanted to see a particular shot before the dude quit, I'd save the clip and rewatch it.

This is all a fuss over nothing.

Especially as Cee said; banning people over quitting will only stunt the growth of the community when we're trying to build it. More people will become discouraged to play, which will lower the average user base of the game. I'd rather not.

I'd just like to mention, it's not so much the rage quitters who bail just as they've been KO'd.

Last night I was playing as Gunnar Nelson vs Maia, took the first round, denied all his take downs. Tries again in the second round, fails first take-down attempt, quits. That's my championship fight finished.

Next up, I fought Anderson Silva, good fun 2.5 minutes til I take him down and he bails.

Just getting that W stops becoming fun.

Just played 2 and a half rounds there of a championship fight. Get a knockdown in the third and he's gone.

It's constant.

The way I see it, if they want to quit after being taken down, let them. If they can't handle a takedown in an MMA game, I'd take it as a moral victory.

Also, LOL @ Gunnar being taken down and quitting.

72OTB against Maia, he must've thought he couldn't recover

EDIT I'm stupid, LOL @ the other way around indeed
