Why is ultimate team so unbalanced?

As someone who mostly played UT in UFC 2, I absolutely hate it this year. I only have 1 good card, my champion Conor, but I hate using pro's. I grinded daily objectives (not fun using my ****ty cards constantly against champions who spam takedowns, so boring), crafted gold tokens which took ages. For some reason I get an error message when trying to stay skill challenges. Finally got enough to craft a gold caf.

Unlocked a LW grappler. The one Division I didn't want and the worst style in the game. Grapplers are only good at clinch work, the worst part about this game, so I will never use it. Actually put me off going back to it.

I think the game is great, have a lot of fun playing with friends but UT is what keeps it going and they made an absolute balls of it this year.

At least let I'd pick the weight and style of the ****ing caf!

all the issues bugging u my man ive stated as soon as i got my hands on the game because i knew that what they did was so far from the core design and that just killed entire experience.

I think part of it why you see such negativity throughout the forum is because after you are bored with "fight now" mode you really have no were to go when in ufc 2 you could at least go do some UT games, especially early on before every1 maxed out their caf's, boy i remember have such fun games and running into some crazy looking caf's that made the experiences so much better.

Guess we have 2 more years before we can enjoy this game again.

Yep, even grinding for the daily tokens is a huge waste of time (unless you're using them to craft Wildcard tokens), I created 2 Gold CAF Fighter cards to get 2 WBW grapplers in a row, there has apparently been a case where someone received 3 wbw specialists in a row too (none of which they wanted).

Hell, why even grind for CAFs? Cause if they remain stuck at 3* then they'll become obsolete anyway.

I just realized what you are saying here last night. I also got two heavy weight balanced CAF's both times. Then I realized that the higher star fighters are in the champions sets. That essentially renders CAF fighters useless and obsolete as you say. That's such a disappointment. Im really confused about why they did this to ultimate team. I waited so long for this title to drop with high hopes and this is quite possibly the most disappointed I've been after being so hyped for a game.
