Re: Any Sci-Fi and Horror Film Fans?

GameCock, make note that I've changed up one of the checklist items. Instead of the years being 1900 - 1919, it is now 1900 - 1939, and so on. To make up for that deletion, I've added "Watch an Anthology Film". You can see it on the site as well (in the first post).

You can start counting movies that you watch beginning at 12:00 midnight tonight. I'm watching Chronicle first at midnight! Have fun.

Re: Any Sci-Fi and Horror Film Fans?

I have always loved the slasher films. Friday the 13th being my favorite. (I even have a Jason Voorhees parody Facebook account) lol

Nightmare and Halloween are right up there of course.

EDIT: I watched "My Name is Bruce" last night on Chiller. Hilariously bad horror flick. Has Bruce Campbell in it so it automatically makes it pure awesome.

That's great! Gotta love Bruce Campbell. If you plan on watching any films, you should sign up. There's still time as it just started officially today. All you have to do is keep track of the films you watch in a list post, which you can turn this post into. The details can be found here. It might sound complicated, but it's really simple.

Excellent choice of Giallo. I might have to change mine to that one (I am planning on doing The Bird with the Crystal Plumage right now).

So now that you've done this, are you going to attempt to actually watch some of these? Even if you don't finish, you should sign up! Just keep a list of all the sci-fi and horror films you watch through the month as an edit of this post, and you'd be all set. Either way, great list.

Excellent choice to start. I watched that earlier in the year, and really enjoyed it. Keep me updated!

Re: Any Sci-Fi and Horror Film Fans?

Nah I just wanted to see if I could fill it. Though I'd switch Evolution for one of the Futurama movies now that I think of it.

Don't have to change to New York Ripper, just watch both.
I'm waiting for the re-release of The Bird with the Crystal Plumage.

Re: Any Sci-Fi and Horror Film Fans?

Hey GameCock, just wanted to remind you that Week Two's theme (Slasher Films) began today. Also, I posted an FAQ on the original Challenge post to clear up any questions you might have.

That said, Predator kicks so much ***. I didn't think I'd like that movie as much as I did, but it's the epitome of male testosterone!
