Im sick of all of this whining for NFL 2K5

There was a lot of things wrong with that game. Instead of reading every thread devolve into 2K5 was better at this I want to start of list of things that sucked with that game.

1) it was to arcade like with the rapid pressing of buttons.

2) Plays were not true to life and unoriginal

3) The players had no phyiscal weight to them - in madden It feels like someone hits your player.

4) THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: THE COMPUTER DID TOO MUCH FOR YOUR PLAYER. (esp. the squeeze through the line animation)

It wasnt that great of a game and All Pro really sucked.


With that said Madden is not perfect but its sickening to see every thread turn into a 2K5 love fest. Im ready for all of the flame attacks.

I think you're wrong here. Compared to Madden 05, the 2K playbooks were way ahead in terms of variety. Also, 2K had Madden beat on little things like trap blocking, etc.

That, uniforms, and presentation were the areas 2K beat Madden 05. But the two games were pretty evenly matched all around, I think. The problem is the Maddens AFTER 05.

I'm looking forward to giving NFL Coach on next gen a try though.

Seems to me this would be better served in the NFL 2k5 forum......just a thought.

At least I know I can complete years and years in 2k5 franchise and never worry about a freeze-up............all I'll say.

Well 2K5 couldn't have sucked that bad. People are still playing it today. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I know everyone has someone that doesn't like them for whatever reason. But just like you wouldn't care that they didn't like you, EA don't care that some people don't like their product. (and no this is not an I hate EA thread).
